Following from the success of our first 'Ice-fest' (which took place 17-25th Jan 09) we will run another ice climbing week 16-24th January 2010, with further weeks on request (alternative dates on demand, minimum group of 4). Looking over a national nature reserve, this is a great location for combining walking and wildlife spotting.
Using our local knowledge, we offer you guided walks where you may see:
Chamois, Ibex, Marmottes, Red squirrels...Golden eagles, Bearded vultures (the 'Gypaetus Barbatus' or Lammergeyer), and Black Kites...
And enjoy alpine Flower species such as Gentians, Edelweiss and many varieties of Orchids.
