Welcome to Alpine Elephant Accommodation. We provide high quality chalet accommodation for alpine activity holidays in the Grand Massif / Haute Giffre region of the French Alps. We are a small, independent business offering a first rate personal service for walking, skiing, climbing and wildlife spotting holidays, with specialist knowledge of this spectacular area.
We own Chalet Henriette, a beautiful, comfy, 200 year old converted Savoyard farmhouse with 5 ensuite bedrooms (sleeping 10-12) offering catered, self-catered or B&B accommodation. Chalet Henriette is set in a quiet village amidst spectacular limestone cliffs with beautiful views of forest and waterfalls. We are in the heart of the montains but are only a short transfer from Geneva of 1 hour 15 minutes.
Enjoy one of the most welcoming and homely French Alps chalets in a fantastic 'getting away from it all' location, with superb skiing and walking on the doorstep PLUS excellent access to historic Sixt Fer a Cheval and Samoens for their architecture, cultural activities, shops and restaurants.
