Ski Chalet Henriette in the French Alps
Chalet Henriette is a converted farmhouse, nearly 200 years old, that combines traditional charm and character with modern facilities. Guests love its homely, comfy atmosphere and the great views of the mountains, forests and waterfalls which surround us.
The chalet sits on the edge of the small village of Salvagny, at the gateway to the Sixt-Passy National nature reserve. We are very close to the lifts and pistes of Sixt Fer a Cheval (400m level walk) and at the start point for many superb walking and biking trails, and the walk-in to many of the ice-climbing areas.
This is an authentic, rural, mountainous area and a great location for family and group holidays. Whilst we benefit from this 'away from it all' feel we also have easy access to Sixt Fer a Cheval (2 minutes by bus / car, 15 mins walk) and Samoens (10 mins by bus / car) for bars, restaurants, shopping, and more leisure and cultural activities.
Enjoy a true alpine setting that combines great views with skiing, walking and biking from the doorstep, and easy access to nearby Samoens and Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval. (We provide complimentary minibus links with catered holidays plus there is a free ski bus in the winter season).
