We - Nick & Kath - own and run Chalet Henriette, a comfy, 200 year old, 5 bedroom catered chalet (sleeping 10-12). Chalet Henriette is located in a beautiful valley in the Grand Massif / Haute Giffre region of the French Alps. We are in the heart of the montains but are only a short transfer from Geneva of 1 hour 15 minutes.

Stay with us and enjoy a fantastic 'getting away from it all' location, with superb skiing and walking on the doorstep AND excellent access to historic Sixt Fer a Cheval and Samoens for their architecture, cultural activities, shops and restaurants.

Bearded vulture update...('Our' resident pair of Lammergeyer on the cliff opposite us!)
We've seen a lot of the young vulture out of the nest - flapping around and trying out its wings. It shouldn't be too long before it tries its first flight. Here's wishing it luck - its got several hundred metres of air below so will be a real 'go for it' moment!
